A James I silver Apostle spoon by James Cluatt, London 1614, the terminal with a gilt figure of St Andrew with a pierced rayed nimbus, the back of the bowl pricked with the initials 'AG' over 'SB' over 'AG', marked in the bowl with a crowned leopard's head and the stem with maker's mark, lion passant and date letter, 18.5cm (7.25in) long, 58g (1.75 oz)
