A JAPANESE KYOYAKI TOZAN STUDIO BOX MIYANAGA TOZAN II, SHOWA PERIOD (1926-1989), CIRCA 1960s The cylindrical box with a gently domed lid with relief carved decoration of a crane and deer with stylised Kanji characters, with a lengthy hand-carved inscription to the base of the box, together with a two-character 'Tozan' mark within a square. The whole covered in an even pale green celadon glaze.
