A LA TÈNE BRONZE 'GORGONEION' FACE PHALERA 3RD-1ST CENTURY B.C. Chased with snake-like hair and a snake curled around the neck, within an ivy wreath border, pierced around the edge for attachment, 7 in. (17.5 cm.) diam.; and a large quantity of bronze ornaments, including six fibulae of varying types, 2¼ in. (5.7 cm.) long max.; a group of La Tène 'bossed' bracelets, 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) diam. max.; an animal-headed vessel handle, 7¾ in. (19.6 cm.) high; an archer's ring, mainly 1st millennium B.C./early 1st millennium A.D.; a beaded bracelet with gazelle-headed terminals, 2¼ in. (5.8 cm.) diam.; a pair of silver alloy twisted hoop hair rings with notched terminals, 1¼ in. (3.2 cm.) diam.; three pairs of bronze earrings, two leech-shaped, circa 8th-7th Century B.C., 1 in.
