A large and important Dutch Delft polychrome ribbed octagonal cachemire three-piece chimney garniture 1691-1710, the baluster vase marked with the LVE monogram for Lambertus van Eenhoorn above 44 and a further mark for de Metalen Pot manufacture Schouwstel or Fireplace Pots , decorated with a very elaborate chinoiserie pattern depicting large floral panels enclosing exotic birds perched on flowering chrysanthemum branches flanked by panels reserved with an Oriental landscape with pagodas and trelliswork panels containing Taoist symbols, the shoulders with stylised grotesque masks alternating chrysanthemum and flowerspray panels, comprising: a large baluster vase and cover, the large domed cover decorated en suite with dog of Fo holding a ball finial and a pair of large beaker vases decorated en suite The balustroid vase and cover, 80 cm. high and the beaker vases, 58.5 cm. high (3)
