A LARGE ARCHAISTIC BRONZE CENSER, QING DYNASTY, 18TH- 19TH CENTURY Katalognummer: CA0918-112 Cast and incised bronze with natural dark patina China Qing Dynasty, 18th - 19th century, likely dating to the earlier 18th century The cloud-shaped, lobed body rising from four ruyi-shaped feet to a waisted and flaring rim, flanked by a pair of archaistic chilong handles with incised detail work, the body cast with a raised spiral band, above an archaistic a pendent lappets band on a leiwen ground. Shape: Cloud-shape Weight: 2300 grams Dimensions: Length 39,5 cm Condition: Excellent with minor wear. Good, old patina.
