A large autograph album containing autograph letters, signatures and free fronts, etc., for Members of Parliament, circa 1868-82, mostly mounted as multiples to rectos of approximately 140 numbered leaves with neat ink biographical notes and information written to pages facing, a total of several hundred autographs, hinges broken and contents loose, in original half morocco gilt, spine gilt-titled 'Autographs XVI. House of Commons 1868-', somewhat worn, folio (45 x 32 cm), together with a further Victorian autograph album including signatures of King George III, Queen Victoria, George Cruikshank Henry Irving, prime ministers Portland, Salisbury and Palmerston, sketches, drawings, crests from envelopes, silhouettes, cartes de visite, a musical quotation by M.W. Balfe, brief autograph letter signed from Mary Tourtel, a certificate signed by G.S. Nares as Captain of the Challenger, 1872, etc., contemporary leather-backed wooden boards including carved upper cover design of foliage, some wear, 4to (2)
