A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE MIING-STYLE VASE, HU 18TH CENTURY The vase is applied with a pair of openwork dragon handles and is skillfully decorated to the body with a variety of flower heads on scrolling foliage, including lotus, peony and chrsyanthemum. A band of confronting kui dragons encircles the shoulders below further bands of geometric designs, floral scrolls and lappets to the mouth rim, neck and base. 15 3/8 in. (39 cm.) high Provenance Private European Collection, acquired in Europe prior to 2000.
