Comprising: 1) Circle and star badge, Deputy ,Sheriff/Arizona/Skull Valley, in the style of the 1880s. 2) Five point brass star, Tombstone/165/Vigilantes, made for the re-enactment group the Tombstone Vigilantes, probably circa 1960, by repute owned by Frank Thompson of the Tombstone Cattleman's Association. 3) Brass shield and star badge, Deputy Sheriff, reverse marked Made in Germany, probably first quarter 20th century. 4) Silver-plated six-point star, First Deputy Sheriff Cochise County Arizona, by repute carried by Harry Wood, First Deputy to Sheriff John Behan, circa 1881, but possibly of later vintage. 5) Large six-point German silver star, Police/251/U.S.Y for the Union Stock Yards in Chicago, 1920s-30s. 6) Circle and star badge, Deputy Sheriff and carried by jack Kennedy of Seaside, Oregon. With authenticating letter from family. 7) Gilt brass shield, Wells Fargo/& Co./Guard, probably post-World War II. 8) Gilt five-point star, Deputy Marshall Tombstone/Arizona, carried by Tombstone Chief of Police Gordon Fishler, circa 1970-80. With documentation. 9) Small five-point star rocker engraved PP for Putnam (Ohio) Police, later a part of Zanesville. With family provenance to Thad Dozier, police officer in Putnam in the last quarter 19th century, replaced pin. 10) Silver-plated five-point star engraved City Police, long back pin, possibly circa 1850. 11) Large circle and star badge, Portland Police Veterans Patrol 4470, carried by Jack Kennedy, see #6, late 1940s. 12) Small nickel shield inscribed Police/21, early 20th century, purchased in Tulsa, Oklahoma, replaced pin. 13) Gilt metal and enamel six-point star, Sheriff's Posse/Don Christensen/Flagstaff, Az., 1940s/50s. 14) Large brass shield engraved with ornate border and inscribed Lee County/Sheriff, probably 1940s for Lee County, Texas. 15) Ornate five-point star, Bud Echols/Constable/Eagle Fort, Texas. 16) Small brass shield with five-point star in the center, Deputy Sheriff, traces of nickel, probably circa 1900, pin replaced. 17) Ornate nickel-plated shield, Claude Louks/Sheriff/Tipton County Indiana, reverse marked S.J. Mayer Co/Indianapolis, 1930s-40s. 18) White metal eagle and shield, Deputy/Sheriff/N.Mex./Bernalillo County, with original embossed leather case, the interior inscribed Stanley Bobrisky/231 Gen.
