Mayer, dated June 1, 1939, the telegraph telling Gish 'Regret to advise you after having conference with Vidor and getting up real enthusiasm for your idea, we find that 20th Century Fox has already started shooting today on "Cavalcade of Hollywood" which embraces among things the experiences of Mack Sennett as well as D.W. Griffith...'; two color photographs of Lillian Gish at the White House with Ronald and Nancy Reagan, circa late 1980s, one signed and inscribed by Nancy Reagan, the other signed and inscribed from Ronald Reagan, and another typescript letter, signed, from Nancy Reagan on Mrs. Ronald Reagan headed notepaper, dated September 17, 1973, the letter trying to arrange a meeting between them; an autograph letter from Carol Burnett on headed stationery, dated August 25, 1977, 1 page, the letter telling Gish 'It was such a thrill to meet you this Summer. I wish your stay had been longer - it was a joy to watch you work. You made it look so effortless'; a holiday card from Joan Fontaine to James Frasher, inscribed 'Hello you gorgeous man you! Joan'; an autograph letter from Anna Neagle, on Dame Anna Neagle C.B.E. headed notepaper, 1 page, dated December 1, 1984, the letter thanking Gish for her birthday and Christmas greetings and telling her 'I am playing at Birmingham in the lovely pantomime "Cinderella", for eight weeks. I don't think you have pantomime in the States?'; a typescript letter, signed, from Eva Marie Saint on headed notepaper, dated November 8, 1982, 1 page, the letter telling Gish 'You are a terrific house mate! I loved sharing that sweet cottage with you and Jim [Frasher]'; an autograph note on a Kodak sleeve from Marlene Dietrich, dated June 17, 1986, the note enclosing 'At last the enlargements! Our Lillian with her Laskia filly, filly born April 22nd. She is beautiful and full of life...a big hug, Marlene'; a typescript note from Dilys Powell, on 14 Albion Street, London headed notepaper, dated September 4, 1969, 1 page, the letter thanking Gish for the roses, with an additional handwritten postscript 'May I say how beautiful you both look and sound?
