A LARGE DUTCH PARCEL-GILT BEAKER MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCT, ENKHUIZEN, 1636-1637 Trumpet-shaped, on moulded rim decorated with applied foliate ornament, engraved with two sailing vessels and centred by the arms of Zeeland in auricular medallion, the upper part engraved with three oval medallions, depicting various scenes of Joseph within stylised foliate scrolls, cherubs masks, fruit and flower festoons, inside gilding and traces of outside gilding, marked on base 7 in. (18 cm.) high 13 oz. (396 gr.)
