A LARGE IMPERIAL PARCEL-GILT, SILVER AND ENAMEL PRESENTATION CHARGER FOR THE CORONATION OF EMPEROR ALEXANDER III AND EMPRESS MARIA FEODOROVNA MARKED OVCHINNIKOV WITH IMPERIAL WARRANT, MOSCOW, 1882 Of circular form, the engraved rim with pan-Slavic scrolls and foliage with four circular cartouches enclosing an Imperial double-headed eagle at the top, and a champlevé enamel horse at the bottom with Buriate inscriptions on silver ground, the cartouches on each side with blue champlevé Russian inscription 'On the day of the luminescent coronation of Their Imperial Highnesses from the Buriates of the Transbaikalian province, May 1883,' the center with the entwined vari-colored cloisonné enamel initials of Emperor Alexander III and Empress Maria Feodorovna within a silver-gilt laurel and oak leaf wreath, against an ermine manteling surmounted by a large Imperial Crown, with a dot and bead rim, fully marked 21¼ in. (54 cm.) diameter
