A LARGE VICTORIAN SILVER EWER MARK OF BEARE FALCKE, LONDON, 1865, THE FINIAL WITH MARK OF ROBERT HENNELL Baluster on circular foot, with an ivory insulated handle, the cover with open-work shell and scroll thumbpiece and detachable horse and jockey finial, with bearded male mask spout, engraved with a crest, marked under base, inside cover, on handle and on finial 18 in. (45.7 cm.) high gross weight 88 oz. (2,759 gr.) The crest is that of Cooper as granted to Samuel Thomas Cooper (1832-1871) of Bulwell Hall, Nottingham. Mr. Cooper bought the estate in 1864, the house having been built in the 1770's.
