by Walter Hermann of Halle, circa 1900, also stamped with the retailers mark of Theodore Müller, Weimar, comprising:- twenty-four tablespoons, sixty table forks, twenty-four dessert spoons, twenty-three dessert forks, twenty-six teaspoons, twenty-four fruit knives, twenty-four cheese/dessert knives with steel blades, twenty-four table knives with serrated edged steel blades, thirty-six table knives with steel blades, a soup ladle, four sauce ladles, two large serving spoons, a pair of sandwich/serving tongs, a pair of fish servers, four fruit serving spoons with fig-shaped bowls and a pastry slice/serving spoon, together with the following Fiddle & Thread pattern items:- four table forks, four dessert spoons, a dessert fork and a sugar sifter spoon, and a pair of Fiddle pattern butter knives, all engraved with the same crest beneath a coronet, all contained in a canteen with pull-out drawers, weighable silver 388oz.
