A LATE LOUIS XVI ORMOLU-MOUNTED PLUM-PUDDING MAHOGANY AND MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE LATE 18TH EARLY 19TH CENTURY The eared rectangular grey-veined white marble top with pierced three-quarter gallery above a pair of grille doors enclosing a shelf, flanked by two tambour shutters each enclosing a further shelf and two short drawers, flanked by stop-fluted columns, above a lower section with eared corners and a fitted secretaire drawer fitted with a green leather-lined writing-surface, above one long and two short drawers, one fitted with a coffre-fort , on stop-fluted turned tapering legs terminating in brass caps 54¾ in. (139 cm.) high; 51½ in. (131 cm.) wide; 26¼ in. (66.5 cm.) deep
