A Late Roman translucent glass flask 5th-6th Century A.D. The pear-shaped body tapering to a cylindrical neck with slight constriction at its base, the neck decorated with three greenish-turquoise applied encircling trails with finer trails spiralling between, 7 1/8in. (18.2cm.) high; another flask, the spherical body with conical neck opening to cylindrical form, the latter decorated with greenish-turquoise and clear glass applied trails with finer spiralling trails between, 5¾in. (14.6cm.) high; a translucent bluish-green glass flask with spherical body and tall neck, 6 7/8in. (17.5cm.) high; and a clear glass jug, the piriform body with cylindrical neck and wide spreading mouth, a turquoise trail under the rim and at base of neck, with thick turquoise handle applied to the rim and shoulder, 3rd-4th Century A.D., 5 1/8in.
