A late Victorian oak canteen box, with lift-out trays, fitted with the following items: i) a late Victorian Hanoverian pattern table service including: fourty-eight table forks twenty-four tablespoons thirty-five dessert forks eighteen dessert spoons eleven teaspoons eleven coffee spoons three condiment spoons a basting spoon by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co, 1900 ii) a set of fourteen pairs of late Victorian pistol handled dessert knives and forks; and a matching pair of fish carvers by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co, 1900 iii) eleven Hanoverian pattern teaspoons; and seven sugar spoons with fluted bowls, crested by G.M.Jackson, 1888-1896 iv) a late Victorian Hanoverian pattern stilton scoop; two pickle forks; and a pickle spoon, by W.Gibson & J.Langman, 1898 v) twelve pairs of Victorian Albany pattern dessert knives and forks, by W.Gibson & J.Langman, Sheffield 1889 ; and four pairs to match, by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, Sheffield, 1901 , crested and hand soldered vi) a set of twelve Edwardian King's pattern table knives, (stainless steel blades); and a set of eleven Edwardian King's pattern table forks, crested, by H.Lambert, 1909 vii) Two Victorian fiddle pattern table forks by Messrs J.& A.Savory, 1841 viii) Six pairs of late Victorian Hanoverian pattern sugar tongs, by G.M.Jackson, 1896 ix) four modern baluster pepper casters, marks worn x) a set of four late Victorian mustard pots with part fluting and blue glass liners, by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, 1900 xi) thirty-six; twenty-six side knives; five carving knives; and two carving forks all with steel blades/tines and ivory handles xii) four modern Albany pattern teaspoons; and two set of six tea knives with steel blades, (loaded) xii) a set of five German gilt cast spoons; five knives; and five forks, (one A/F) xiv) and the following plated items: a pair of grape shears; a crumb scoop; and a pair of serving tongs 444oz weighable silver, the canteen box measuring - 32cm x 42cm x 62cm.
