A LOUIS XVI ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD AND PARQUETRY COMMODE CIRCA 1785, STAMPED IN THE 19TH CENTURY BY 'CH. LAVAL' The slight breakfront grey and salmon Brecchia marble top above three frieze drawers and two long drawers below, flanked by simulated fluted uprights headed by lion's masks, on turned legs with gilt sabots, bearing a stamp 'CH. LAVAL' (three times) 33¾ in. (86 cm.) high; 58½ in. (148.5 cm.) wide; 24½ in. (62 cm.) deep
