A MAHOGANY TRIPLE PILLAR DINING TABLE EARLY 19TH CENTURY AND LATER 71cm high, 122cm wide, 268cm long Condition Report: This dining table has marks, scratches, cracks, stains, knocks and abrasions consistent with age and much use. The top has cracks generally from the edge, some deep scratches amplified by the wood fading and the filler to the scratches not fading, some indentations and filled dents. Some small undulations and movement to the top with chips and wear to the edges that meet. The underside with later bearers and holes from previous fixings; later swivelling blocks to support the area where the leaves join. Some cracks and repairs to the legs. The central section scored to the underside to minimise warping. With later, substantial, stained bearers. Some chips to the turned column.
