A Martin Brothers stoneware gourd vase by Edwin and Walter Martin dated 1901, tapering, cylindrical form, painted with brown spots on a buff ground, incised 6-1901 and marks original paper label, 10.5cm. high Provenance F.D Spooner collection, Sotheby's Belgravia 31st March 1976 lot 472 (probably this vase) Martin Brothers Pottery, Richard Dennis Gallery catalogue number 679, purchased by Rhys Morgan.
