A Meissen armorial two-handled shaped-oval bowl and cover19th century inspired by an 18th century model, the finial formed as a crown on a cushion, flanked by the arms of Saxony, Poland and Lithuania, the stepped and fluted cover applied with white flowers and cartouches painted with couples in landscape, the bwl with leaf and scroll-moulded handles and feet, garlanded with further which flowers on a ground reserved with panels painted in puce with estuary scenes, the interior richly gilt, blue crossed swords mark 19.6 cm, 7¾ in wide2 To view Shipping Calculator, please click here.Condition ReportOverall in good order. In need of cleaning but no damages detected which is unusual given the delicacy and vulnerability of the finial and the applied ornament.
