A Meissen coffee pot and cover, circa 1725-26 painted in the manner of Johann Gregorius Höroldt with a continuous scene of chinoiserie figures in a rocky garden, one figure holding a parasol over a seated colleague who feeds a tiny lapdog, another figure working at a smoking brazier, birds and insects in flight above them beneath a broad border of gilt scrollwork, the domed cover with similar scenes, crossed swords mark and dot in blue enamel, gilt numeral 66. to both, Quantity: 2 21cm., 8 1/4 in. high
