A MEISSEN FIGURE GROUP EMBLEMATIC OF LITERATURE, circa 1930, blue crossed swords and dot marks, incised 611. and impressed 51., modelled as a nymph seated beneath a fruiting tree, studying an open book and attended by a putto playing a lute, the grassy mound base applied with flowers; together with four Meissen 'Cris de Paris' figures, a Meissen figure of a nymph and a slightly larger Meissen figure of a dancer, all on rocaille-moulded bases 11in.
