A MEISSEN GOLDCHINESEN KAPUZINER-BRAUN-GROUND CREAM-JUG AND A COVER THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1740, THE GILDING ALMOST CONTEMPORARY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK Of ribbed globular form raised on the three paw feet, with scroll handle and foliate-moulded spout, the Kapuziner-braun ground gilt in Augsburg in the Seuter workshop with vignettes of Oriental figures on a terrace at various pursuits, some holding parasols and flanked by trees, the cover with a figure holding a hoop, a fox and bird with a gilt scroll border to the rim (the associated cover with restored chip to finial) 5¼ in.
