A MEISSEN MARCOLINI PART TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE CIRCA 1770, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND STAR MARKS Each piece painted in puce camaieu with hunters in stableyards, travellers at various pursuits near rivers and camping, within gilt chain surrounds surmounted by puce and green trailing roses and with blue ribbon-tied ivy branches below, the sides with puce and gilt scattered sprigs and with gilt dentil rims, rims worn on all, finials with some small chips, comprising: a coffee-pot and cover, small crack at handle, 9½in. (24cm.) high a hot-milk jug and cover, 5½in. (14cm.) high a teapot and cover, 4in. (10cm.) high a sugar-bowl and cover, 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high a waste-bowl, cracked, 6¾in. (16.2cm.) diam. a spoon tray, 6¾in. (17cm.) wide five coffee-cups ten teacups, rim chips to two fifteen saucers, one with rim chip (36)
