A MEISSEN (MARCOLINI) PART TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE, the angular handles and the spouts moulded with acanthus leaves and applied with a laurel swag and berry finials, painted in a prodominantly brown and gilt palette with bouquets including, pink roses, orange honeysuckle, pink tulips, blue gentian and forget-me-knots, the rims with gilt ovolo bands, comprising: A baluster coffee-pot and cover (handle repaired, chip and crack to body) A teapot and cover (chip to spout and minor chips to handle) A baluster hot-milk jug and cover (chips to spout, minor chips to handle, restoration to finial and rim of cover) A baluster oviform tea-caddy and cover (finial restored) A sugar-bowl and cover Five teacups (one with slight chip to handle) Six saucers (one with two rim chips) (some rubbing to gilding) blue crossed swords and star marks, painter's marks 31., gilder's S. to some pieces, various Pressnummern , circa 1780
