A MEISSEN (MARCOLINI) PART TEA-SERVICE painted with sprays of flowers below bright-blue ground borders edged with a gilt band entwined with orange ribbon between sprays of flowers, the rims with gilt ovolo ornament, comprising: A pear-shaped coffee-pot and domed cover (handle chipped and cracked) A bullet-shaped teapot and cover (slight chips to spout) A pear-shaped hot-milk jug and cover (cracked and repaired, chip to rim of jug and cover, handle cracked) A circular sugar-bowl and cover A slop-bowl Four coffee-cups (two cracked and one with crack to base of handle) Ten teacups (two repaired, one cracked and one with crack to handle) Twelve saucers (one chipped and one chipped and cracked) (slight flaking to enamels and rubbing to gilding), blue crossed swords and star marks, some with gilder's N, various Pressnummern , circa 1790
