M above, within an elaborate gilt foliage scroll cartouche with Böttger -lustre panels issuing gilt and iron-red scrolls supporting platforms on each side with setaed Orientals, the top with a crouching Oriental on a drape, the reverse painted by Stadler with birds and insects in flight, between gilt Laub-und-bandelwerk borders, the handle fitted with a hinged mount, the facetted domed cover with a scroll thumbpiece, the interior gilt and chased with Eleon: Frid.
