Pte Thomas Coats 16254 C Coy 17th Battn Highland Light Infantry who died on 1st July 1916, age 27 yrs. The son of Matthew and Mary Buchanan Coats of 100 , George St, Paisley. (Glasgow Pals) He went to France with his Pals Battalion on the 22nd November 1915. Blighty Valley Cemetery, Authuille Wood.
