A mid/late 19th-Century British domestic medicine cabinet, the double doors fitted with blue plush-lined galleries each for six water-white bottles with gilt, black and red content labels and stoppers ( one bottle missing ), the upper central part divided into a blue plush-lined gallery with two ( of five ) bottles, the lower central section with six drawers with ivory pulls ( two missing ), containing a brass beam balance and weights, three water-white glass vessels with cork stoppers and paper content labels, a glass mortar and pestle and other items, a back compartment concealed by a sliding panel with gallery with three ( of four ) bottles, the case with brass carrying handle and one ivory and one brass diamond-shaped escutcheon ( keys missing ) -- 28.5 x 25 x 17.5cm.
