A MING-STYLE BLUE AND WHITE PEAR-SHAPED VASE, YUHUCHUNPING 18TH CENTURY The vase is decorated with a continuous scene of bamboo and plaintain amongst rocks in a fenced garden below a band of ruyi -heads, scrolling foliage, and spearheads to the neck. The foot rim is encircled by a band of lotus lappets above tendrils. 14 ¾ in. (37.5 cm) high Provenance We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its manufacture. -There is a frit to the mouth rim. -There is a hairline crack to one side of foot exterior. -There are some very minor iron spots.
