A miniature Napoleonic prisoner of war model of the naval cutter Fly the hull and deck are planked in bone over a wood plug, the planking held in place with brass pins. The stem, bow knuckle, keel and rudder post are all in bone. The transom is decorated around the edge and has the name written on the stern. Detailed with posts, windlass, deck hatches, skylight, companionway, tiller and 10 brass cannons on carriages. Rigged with a single mast with cross spars, boom and gaff, standing and running rigging and other details. Mounted on a two tiered marquetry base with ivory trim 5 x 5 5/8 in. (12.7 x 14.3 cm.) model on stand
