A MONUMENTAL RUSSIAN ORMOLU AND JAPANESE PORCELAIN FORTY-EIGHT LIGHT CHANDELIER ALMOST CERTAINLY BY FÉLIX CHOPIN, CIRCA 1850 The inverted dome corona modelled with three dragons crouching on spheres, above a sectional baluster stem in gilt, iron-red, blue and green 'Hana Kago' pattern porcelain with floral reserves decorated with birds, issuing two tiers of twenty-four 'S'-scroll branches cast with Chinese-style mythological dragons and terminating in bowl-shaped porcelain nozzles, the porcelain nozzles possibly Russian, the boss later 71¾ in. (182 cm.) high; 60¾ in. (154 cm.) diameter
