A NAPOLEON III ORMOLU AND ONYX THREE-PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE OF LOUIS XVI STYLE, BY JULES GRAUX, PARIS, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of seven-light candelabra CASE: the clock case with arched pediment surmounted by a garland-hung urn on scrolled uprights atop an eared rectangular base inset with neo-grec acanthus panels, on toupie feet DIAL: polychrome enamel with pierced and engraved ormolu hands, signed ' BRONZE D'ART Jules-Graux A Paris ' MOVEMENT: twin-barrels with strike on bell, stamped ' MEDAILLE D'ARGENT 1855 VINCENTI ET CIE ', pendulum and winding key; the candelabra en suite , each with three volute scrolled uprights supporting an urn issuing a central nozzle with conical finial, surrounded by six downswept branches, on circluar marble base with toupie feet, the ormolu variously stamped 'JG' and 'JG 86' The clock: 22 in.
