A Napoleon III ormolu and Sevres-pattern turquoise-ground porcelain-mounted ebonised centre table Circa 1870 The circular top inset with a shallow dish painted to the centre with a portrait of Louis XVI, within a band of flower and fleur-de-lys decorated lozenges, the foliate-chased border inset with eighteen oval medaillons , seventeen depicting court beauties, one the Royal Coat of Arms, with a pierced frieze, on a baluster support mounted with drapery swags and acanthus and with scrolling foliate-cast brackets, on triform base 29¾ in. (75.5 cm.) diameter; 31½ in. (80 cm.) high
