A NAPOLEON III ORMOLU AND SEVRES STYLE COBALT-BLUE GROUND PORCELAIN THREE-PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of five-light candelabra; CASE: vase-shaped case surmounted by floral and foliate cover and flanked by two Bacchic amorini, the naturalistic rockwork plinth with inset Sèvres-style panels, on toupie feet; DIAL: restored white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with pierced and engraved gilt hands; MOVEMENT: twin barrels movement with anchor escapement and countwheel strike on bell, stamped 'MIROY FRES BTS SGDG A PARIS', pendulum; en suite with a pair of vase-form five-light candelabra issuing lily-spray branches The clock: 24½ in.
