A NAPOLEON III ORMOLU THREE-PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE CAST FROM THE MODEL BY ALBERT-ERNEST-CARRIER-BELLEUSE, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of seven-light candelabra CASE: modelled with flowers, shells and asymmetrical rocaille scrolls, flanked by seated nymphs, the base signed 'A. CARRIER' DIAL: the white enamelled dial signed 'AUG T E LEMAIRE/PARIS/Rue Vieille de Temple 121' with pierced and engraved ormolu hands MOVEMENT: with twin going barrels, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell, the candelabra en suite with seated nymphs beneath scrolled branches, signed 'A.
