Important and early report on the first British diplomatic mission to China. Evans 28189. Lot Amendments Condition: Joints splitting with front board nearly detached, chips and small scuffs to leather, spine ends and corners bumped; light foxing, two previous owner’s signatures (dated 1828 and 1876); good or better, worthy of repair.
