A NEAR EASTERN BRONZE STRAINER VESSEL EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C. The deep bowl with strainer panel attached with rivets across the opening of the spout, with loop handle attached to ring fittings on the gently everted rim, on shallow circular foot, 8 in. (20.2 cm.) diam. max.; a Persian painted pottery jar, the rounded body with angled shoulder and narrow everted rim, decorated in dark brown with bands of hatched triangle motifs, a larger band around the central body with a line of double chevrons interspersed by blocks of vertical lines with hatched semicircles either side, with additional foot, late 3rd-2nd millennium B.C., 7¾ in. (19.7 cm.) high; and an orange pottery single-handled cup painted with black and red geometric patterns, circa 4th-3rd millennium B.C., 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high (3)
