A Nishapur footed pottery bowl 10th/12th century with deep flaring sides, painted in brown, cream, red, and yellow ochre slip, with sparse designs and kufic calligraphy, the exterior unglazed -- 10¼in (25.9cm.) diam; a Nishapur pottery bowl sparsely decorated with kufic calligraphy and abstract designs to the rim -- 10¼in. (25.9cms) diam; a Syrian pottery baluster jarlet decorated in blue, cream and brown enamels -- 4¼in. (10.8cms) high, 14th century ; a composite Syrian albarello of flaring decagonal form -- 6¼in. (16cms) high, 13th/14th century ; and two similar Nishapur bowls after 9th century Abasid originals, each with green splashes and lines of kufic inscription -- both approx. 8in.
