A Nymphenburg figure of a putto in disguise as Saturn Circa 1770, top of base with gilt-edged impressed Bavarian shield mark After the model by F.A. Bustelli , with his head turned to the left and his shoulders twisted to the right, his loins loosely covered with a billowing puce robe secured with a green strap, striding forward holding a long scythe, its blade resting by his left foot, a timer nearby, his right foot stepping off an open book, its pages inscribed in iron-red Le tems s'en fuit usage c'est l'arreter pourquoi le regler málgré la ...(?) qui nous force a la quitter. L'homme est mort. , on a shaped flat mound base incised and painted with tufts of grass and edged with sweeping gilt scrolls (wings, head and left arm restuck, handle of scythe, timer and robe with restoration, scythe blade and green strap with chip) 4¼ in.
