A pair and two Chinese blue and white bowls The pair with Kangxi six character mark and of the period (1662-1722); the two with Chenghua six character mark, Kangxi (1662-1722) Comprising a pair of bowls painted with scenes from the Romance of the Western Chamber, the flaring rim with a diaper-pattern border, the interior roundel decorated with boys at play, some damage and repair, 19.9 cm. diam.; a bowl painted with two figural scenes between calligraphy, the flaring rim with panels of peach on a diaper-pattern ground, the interior roundel with boys at play, hairline rim crack, chips, 21.8 cm. diam.; and a square bowl painted with four scenes of a boy bringing offerings to a dignitary, hairline rim crack, 14 cm. diam.
