Carlsbad.' in gold on the top edge of each tail, rootwood full stocks (minor cracks and repairs), iron mounts decorated en suite with the barrels and comprising pierced serpentine side-plates, shaped escutcheons, spurred pommels each with separate pommel-cap decorated with a gilt figure of Fortune, trigger-guards with pierced finial, turned baluster ramrod-pipes, original ramrods with iron-capped rootwood tips decorated with punched silvered and gilt foliage, and retaining some of their original finish throughout (cocks replaced) 21¼in.
