A PAIR OF BOHEMIAN FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS with two-stage sighted barrels, flat bevelled locks each chiselled in low relief with a seated huntress, a dog and hare within a landscape, and with a stag on the tail, the cocks chiselled with strapwork, and the steels with foliage, carved figured walnut full stocks (butts repaired), full gilt-brass mounts cast and chased with strapwork, mounted horsemen in combat, and on the bow of each trigger-guard with an infantryman, the spurred pommels each with grotesque mask cap (one escutcheon replaced), horn fore-end caps, and horn-tipped ramrods (one replaced), unsigned, circa 1730, probably Carlsbad 16½in. (2)
