A pair of Chinese blue and white saucers, qi yu bao ding zhi zhen mark, Kangxi
A pair of Chinese blue and white saucers, qi yu bao ding zhi zhen mark, Kangxi each painted with a medallion enclosing a lady seated in a fenced garden before rockwork, encircled by four pairs of seated ladies flanked by floral sprays and a cross-hatched band, the reverse with auspicious emblems, underglaze blue qi yu bao ding zhi zhen ('Precious object of rare jade among treasured vessels') marks; a blue and white barbed rim and lappet moulded saucer and cup, the saucer painted with peony and chrysanthemum sparys growing from rockwork, encircled by lappets with floral sprays, butterflies and birds, underglaze blue yu ('Jade') marks, the saucer 5 1/8in. (13cm.) diam.; and a blue and white censer, painted with lappets enclosing lotus sprays, flanked by auspicious objects above a ruyi-head border -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) diam. (5)
