A pair of French 19th Century silver-gilt altar cruets on a conforming beaded shaped oval tray decorated with a frieze of stylised vines, the baluster cruets with elaborate scrolling handles and domed hinged covers with ball finials, one enhanced with vines, flowers, foliage and fluting, the other with doves, flowers, foliage and fluting, length of tray 11½in. (29.25cm.), height of cruets 5¾in. (14.50cm.), 22oz. See Plate 6 (3)
