A pair of Italian elm, burr elm and fruitwood inlaid walnut bureaux second quarter 18th century with inlaid banding and cartouche decoration, each with a serpentine-shaped fall opening to reveal an interior fitted with three pigeon holes above three small drawers and three concealed drawers and with conforming inlay, the lower section of serpentine outline with three drawers, the similarly shaped sides of bombé form, on bracket feet each 111cm. high, 143cm. wide, 71cm. deep; 3ft. 7¾in., 4ft. 8¼in., 2ft. 4in.
