CRESWICK, CIRCA 1830 The hotwater stand of four shell and foliage feet and two foliage bracket handles, the entree dishes with gadrooned borders, detachable cover and reeded foliage ring handle, the vegetable dish with tripartite divider and detachable domed cover with reeded foliage and shell handle, the pair of plated entree dishes with gadrooned borders and shell and gadrooned ring handles, the hot water stand 13in. (33cm.) long, the pair of entree dishes 11in. (28cm.) long The arms on the vegetable dish are those of the Bishopric of London impaling Blomfield for Charles James Blomfield (1786-1857), Bishop of Chester 1824-1828 and Bishop of London 1828-1856 (5)
