A pair of Regency mahogany hall chairs, circa 1820, each with a shaped rectangular back with vacant cartouche above the solid seat and turned legs to the front Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Old splits and cracks, these are notably through rear legs on both chairs, to one chair the leg has previosuly broken through and been repaired. The backs have been screwed and plugged to the rails - some plugs missing and some looseness to this join One chair the seat is now loose and not attached to the frame due to the dry glue to the blocks becoming weak, some of these blocks appear to be later replacements too.
