A PAIR RALPH WOOD FIGURES OF SPANISH MUSICIANS, he standing before a tree-stump playing the castinets, wearing dark-brown hat, blue waistcoat, brown jerkin with pale-yellow sleeves and green tattered breeches, she standing playing the drum, in dark-brown conical hat and wearing a blue shawl, pale-yellow bodice, brown skirt and white apron, on rockwork mounds above square bases (he with right arm repaired, broken through legs and tree-stump and repaired, she with restoration to nose, neck, left arm and hand, repair to right wrist and base of drum-stick, broken from base and restuck, both with slight chips to edge of bases), circa 1790 22cm. high (2)
