The Adams continued to operate the studio until 1971. The studio is now known as the Ansel Adams Gallery and remains in the hands of the Adams family. The photograph is housed in the original printed envelope from the studio, with "A Photograph of Yosemite by Ansel Adams" printed on the front, with the studio's name printed beneath.
